In respect of the promise given to the previous owners, Benoit and Anne have preserved the original style of the bungalow built by the Scottish.
At LA Maison, you see large bow windows, wooden varnished floors, antique Burma teak doors and frames, high ceilings with original teak carpentry work, fire place with rosewood frame, verandas with Rajasthan sand-stone flooring, shaped tiled roofs with drops garland, and multicoloured gardens.
Antique and style furniture
Hours and days spent to dig out furniture from abandoned places and dusty depots. Hours and days spent to repair, refit, re-cane and re-pollster as per old time style.
A sofa made of Burma teak and rose-wood has been saved from a church yard and its seven pieces repaired, re-assembled and re-caned.
As per contemporary needs, solid wooden king-size cots are been newly made, and fitted with 8’’ thick latex mattresses.
